Corby started 2017 in amazing fashion with some brilliant swims in the Northamptonshire County Championships. Corby swimmers managed to secure 92 finalists and produce 21 gold, 9 silver and 12 bronze medals. Absolute proof that hard work and determination pays off!
The club’s improvement sees a step up from the 2016 championships where swimmers managed won 10 golds, 5 silvers and 3 bronzes.
It was especially pleasing to see the performances coming from a wide range of Corby swimmers across many of the clubs various squads which provides a great base for the future. A special well done must go to Keeley-Rose Richards, Katy Wilson and Charlotte Preston who all achieved regional qualifying times at the championships!
